Senior/Staff Test Engineer (Semiconductor)

What you will do

• Develop and deploy production test solutions for RF, analog, and mixed-signal SoCs on in-house and commercial ATE platforms.
• Prepare test plans for new IP blocks with design teams, aligning functional requirements and reliability expectations.
• Design load boards and probe cards for reliable high-volume manufacturing.
• Develop, optimize, and release test programs for NPI products.
• Lead first-silicon bring-up and characterization with Design and Product Engineering.
• Improve test time, yield, and coverage through root cause analysis, while supporting volume ramp, cross-site correlation, mentoring, and methodology improvements.

Requirements

• BS/MS in Electrical Engineering or a related field with 5+ years of ATE development experience.
• Strong knowledge of semiconductor test flows, including wafer sort, final test, and SLT.
• Experience writing embedded test firmware in C or C++ for microcontroller production testing and characterization.
• Experience with ATE platforms such as Teradyne UltraFlex, J750, or equivalent.
• Familiarity with RF, analog, and mixed-signal measurements.
• Experience designing test hardware circuits and PCB layouts using Altium or equivalent tools, plus debugging test hardware and software and programming in C++, Python, or both.

Nice to have

• Experience with wireless SoCs and technologies such as BLE, Zigbee, Wi-Fi, or Matter.
• Knowledge of Design-for-Test, boundary scan, and BIST.
• Experience with test data analysis, SQL, Python, R, SiliconDash, test automation frameworks, or Git.
• Understanding of semiconductor process flows, product architecture, process variation, and quality implications.
