TL;DR

Senior Technical Risk Analyst (Fintech): Executing brokerage risk management programs including technical risk assessments, governance, and automation support with an accent on cross-functional collaboration and data-driven risk mitigation. Focus on embedding real-time controls into operational workflows and leveraging AI-assisted tooling to streamline risk governance.

Location: Must be based in Chicago, IL; Denver, CO; Lake Mary, FL; or New York, NY with in-person attendance required at least 3 days per week.

Salary: $99,000 – $150,000 USD (based on location zone).

What you will do

  • Orchestrate end-to-end technical risk assessments and facilitate discussions with engineering leadership.
  • Coordinate the Issue Management Program including triage, escalation, and reporting.
  • Maintain GRC system administration and synthesize complex risk data for leadership.
  • Drive accountability across a matrixed organization to ensure risks are addressed pragmatically.
  • Contribute to automation goals to implement real-time controls and streamline workflows.

Requirements

  • 5-10 years of experience in risk management, broker-dealer, RIA, or fintech fields.
  • Technical fluency in SQL and Python scripting.
  • Experience with GRC tooling and data dashboarding (e.g., Superset, Jira).
  • Familiarity with SDLC and progressive deployment concepts.
  • Understanding of brokerage regulations such as FINRA, SEC, and CFTC.
  • Experience with AI-assisted risk tooling or agentic workflows.
