Procurement Professional, Indirect – IT & Software

What you will do

• Manage strategic sourcing, contract lifecycle management, and procurement compliance and governance.
• Select, develop, and manage suppliers while meeting cost and performance objectives for IT and software categories.
• Monitor supplier performance across quality, cost, delivery, technology, service, and leadership, including root cause analysis and improvement plans.
• Lead negotiations and contract completion with global suppliers.
• Develop spend management strategies covering supplier rationalization, total cost of ownership, make-versus-buy analysis, supply continuity, EDI, and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with engineering, Legal, suppliers, customers, stakeholders, and commodity teams on procurement and technology roadmaps.

Requirements

• BA/BS undergraduate degree.
• At least three years of progressive commodity or supply chain management experience and three years of direct source-to-contract experience.
• Experience with indirect commodity management and IT and software procurement concepts, including software licensing, cloud architecture, IT labor SOWs, SaaS, and software resale partnerships.
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills, including understanding of contractual terms, conditions, risk mitigation, and ethical purchasing requirements.
• Ability to work with Legal on ethical purchasing and contract matters.

Nice to have

• Three to four years of direct source-to-contract work with bilateral master agreements, quotes, and order forms.
• One to three years of IT and software sourcing experience.
• J.D. or local equivalent legal degree, MBA, or similar advanced degree.
• Experience with procurement and services contracts, SaaS, software licensing, and hardware sales and service.
