Procurement Lead

Location: Onsite in Belgrade, New Belgrade, Serbia; conversations with current buyers take place in the office. Late-day overlap with North American time zones and occasional international travel are expected.

What you will do

• Own all buy-side spend across four operating entities, including hardware, installation, connectivity, cloud, software, professional services, facilities, fleet, logistics, marketing, and staffing.
• Build the end-to-end buy-side contract lifecycle, including the contract repository and renewal calendar.
• Design procurement policy, intake processes, approval thresholds, and the delegation of authority matrix for CFO approval.
• Build the subcontractor and vendor governance model, including qualification, segmentation, scorecards, and regional coverage.
• Develop spend visibility in NetSuite by mapping vendors and contracts to GL accounts, cost centres, entities, and margin lines.
• Own and extend the internal vendor management application using low-code development, AI-assisted development, workflow automation, and APIs.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or commercial contract management.
• Demonstrated experience building or materially rebuilding a procurement function from the ground up.
• Personal ownership of negotiation outcomes and savings results, with savings validated by Finance.
• Direct negotiation experience across indirect categories and operational or technical spend.
• Ability to independently redline standard buy-side agreements and identify material risk without routine legal support.
• Business-negotiation-standard English; most vendors and stakeholders are outside Serbia.

Nice to have

• CIPS, CPSM, or equivalent certification.
• NetSuite or comparable ERP experience.
• Multi-entity, multi-currency, and cross-border procurement experience.
• Working Spanish.
