TL;DR

HR Business Partner (Fintech): Providing hands-on HR support to North American teams with an accent on employee relations, performance management, and policy application. Location: Must be based in Pittsburgh, PA (Hybrid: 1–2 days per week in office)

What you will do

  • Provide day-to-day HR support to managers across North America.
  • Manage employee relations matters, including investigations, disciplinary actions, and performance improvement plans.
  • Guide managers on the consistent application of HR policies.
  • Deliver onboarding support and contribute to workforce planning and HR reporting.
  • Collaborate with the Lead HRBP on complex or high-risk employee matters.
  • Contribute to learning and development initiatives and process improvements.

Requirements

  • 3–6 years of experience in an HR Generalist or developing HRBP role.
  • Proven exposure to employee relations and performance management.
  • Practical approach to HR with strong judgment and communication skills.
  • Ability to build effective working relationships with managers and employees.
  • Must be based in or able to commute to Pittsburgh, PA.

Nice to have

  • Experience supporting a global workforce.
  • Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (e.g., Udemy).
  • Exposure to organizational change, restructures, or workforce reductions.
  • Involvement in leadership training or L&D initiatives.
  • Interest in AI applications for HR workflows.
