TL;DR

Sr Compensation Analyst (Compensation/Financial Modeling): Design, analyze, and financially manage compensation and incentive programs across the organization with an accent on base salary and bonus planning, payout projections, and scenario analysis. Focus on partnering with Finance and HR to ensure pay programs are competitive, well-governed, and financially sound while supporting offers, promotions, and retention decisions.

What you will do

  • Support the design, administration, and ongoing evaluation of base salary and incentive compensation programs.
  • Build and maintain financial models for annual bonus planning, including payout projections under multiple performance scenarios.
  • Partner with Finance on compensation forecasting, budgeting, and bonus accruals.
  • Analyze compensation outcomes for alignment with performance, market positioning, and cost expectations.
  • Provide analytical support for offers, promotions, and retention decisions, including cost and competitiveness assessments.
  • Conduct market pricing and survey analysis and prepare data-driven materials for senior leaders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Analytics, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • 4–7+ years of experience in compensation or compensation-focused analytical roles with exposure to financial modeling, FP&A, or data-driven decision-making.
  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills, including projections and scenario analysis.
  • Advanced Excel skills and comfort working with complex datasets.
  • Ability to partner effectively across Compensation, HR, and Finance functions.
  • Strong communication skills to translate financial and compensation concepts clearly.
