What you will do

  • Lead the development, execution, and continuous improvement of machining, automated assembly, anodize, inspection, and cleaning work centers.
  • Serve as the technical bridge between design/manufacturing engineering and the production team to resolve bottlenecks.
  • Collaborate on programming for 3-axis, 3+2, and 5-axis CNC mills using Siemens NX CAM software.
  • Drive Design-for-Manufacturing (DFM) conversations to improve part manufacturability and reduce machine complexity.
  • Implement innovative fixturing strategies tailored for complex additive manufactured geometries.
  • Analyze production data to identify trends, root causes of scrap, and implement corrective actions.

Requirements

  • Ability to lawfully access information and technology subject to US export controls
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering.
  • 8+ years of experience in the aerospace or defense industries.
  • Hands-on experience with additive manufacturing, robotics, coatings, and metrology.
  • Proficiency in CAD/CAM software such as Siemens NX and AutoCAD.
  • Advanced knowledge of CNC machining, GD&T, and tooling.

Nice to have

  • Master's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Aerospace Engineering.
  • Experience with robotic machining systems and calibration methodologies.
  • Experience with manufacturing automation in automotive or aerospace environments.
