What you will do
- Deliver continuing education and pump training to patients, customers, and healthcare professionals on insulin pump therapy use.
- Lead educational classes that support diabetes education and advanced diabetes management skills.
- Develop strategies with the Territory Manager to address clinical concerns, drive sales, and retain relationships in the assigned territory.
- Promote Tandem products and clinical services by differentiating outcomes and educating prospects on industry and healthcare trends.
- Complete product training, documentation, and timely communications with HCPs per company policy.
- Maintain territory call cycles, update CRM records, and coordinate with Clinical Support and Customer Technical Support to address post-sale issues and additional training needs.
Requirements
- Location: field-based role in the Greater Albany, NY region
- RN (BSN preferred), RD, RPh, or equivalent education and relevant experience.
- Advanced Diabetes Education Professional Credential (CDCES or BC-ADM) certified or eligible.
- 2+ years coordinating and conducting patient education on the technical use of diabetes technology (video remote education preferred).
- Ability to communicate effectively as a clinical expert on diabetes, diabetes technology, Automated Insulin Delivery, and diabetes management software systems.
- Travel: at least 80% within the assigned territory; valid driver’s license and required auto insurance

- Base pay range: $101,025–$124,475 annually; target earning potential: $126,025–$148,475 annually.

Hiring process
