What you will do

• Handle moderate to complex Inland Marine claims, including Transportation and Motor Truck Cargo.
• Analyze coverage, prepare position letters, and conduct investigations into loss facts.
• Direct and monitor outside counsel and experts to ensure effective litigation management.
• Negotiate and settle claims while maintaining cost-effective closure results.
• Present high-exposure cases at roundtables to senior leadership and underwriters.
• Provide technical training and mentorship to team members.

Requirements

• US Work Authorization required (no sponsorship provided).
• 5+ years of Inland Marine claims handling experience.
• Active claims adjuster license.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and vendor management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.

Nice to have

• JD, advanced degree, or focused technical degree.
• Industry designations such as INS, IEA, AIC, ARM, SCLA, or CPCU.
• Experience in mediations, arbitrations, and monitoring trials.
