Senior CNC Programmer/Manufacturing Engineer

What you will do

• Create, modify, and optimize CNC programs using CAD/CAM for multi-axis mills, lathes, and mill/turn machines.
• Develop process plans and methods for multi-operation, multi-functional machinery, including multi-pallet/pallet pull systems.
• Determine and/or design tooling, jigs, and fixtures; produce drawings or sketches to enable efficient, repeatable manufacturing.
• Maintain manufacturing documentation (work instructions, process sheets, setup instructions, and SOPs) to ensure sustainable processes.
• Provide production support and troubleshooting, including first article inspections (FAI) in collaboration with quality and methods engineering.
• Drive continuous improvement using Lean manufacturing and support DFM feedback and mentoring of less-experienced machinists.

Requirements

• 10+ years of progressive CNC programming and machining experience (Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing/Mechanical Engineering preferred but not required).
• Hands-on experience with multi-axis CNC machines and control types such as Fanuc, Siemens, or Mazatrol.
• Proficiency in CAD/CAM tools (e.g., Siemens NX, CATIA, Mastercam) and expertise in G-code and M-code programming.
• Strong GD&T knowledge and ability to interpret blueprints and drawings.
• Advanced shop math skills and familiarity with precision measuring instruments (calipers, depth gages, CMMs).
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and communicate effectively across departments.

Salary: $100,000.00–$140,000.00 annually
