What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain software controlling robotic systems, automated manufacturing equipment, and production workflows.
• Build scalable solutions for industrial robotics, motion control systems, sensors, and machine vision.
• Develop machine-control software for additive manufacturing systems and robotic cells.
• Architect robust software solutions that support real-time decision-making and coordinated robotic operations.
• Collaborate with Robotics, Manufacturing, and Product Engineering teams to translate requirements into scalable software.
• Investigate and resolve complex system-level issues within production environments.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States and eligible to work via E-Verify.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience in robotics, automation, or machine-control.
• Strong proficiency in C++, C#, or Python.
• Experience developing software that interfaces directly with hardware, robotics systems, or industrial machinery.
• Proven experience designing and implementing complex software deployed in production environments.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree in Computer Science, Robotics, or Controls Engineering.
• Experience with ABB, FANUC, KUKA, or Yaskawa robotics platforms.
• Knowledge of real-time software systems, distributed control architectures, or path planning.
• Familiarity with PLCs, industrial communication protocols, and manufacturing execution systems (MES).
