TL;DR

Systems Support Engineer II (IT Administration): Providing technical support and maintaining IT infrastructure for clients with an accent on Windows administration, Active Directory, and Office 365 management. Focus on troubleshooting complex hardware/software issues, managing ticket queues, and ensuring high system availability in a secure environment.

Location: Must be based in Lexington, MA (Onsite). U.S. Citizenship and active Secret clearance required.

What you will do

  • Handle technical support requests and escalations from customers and team members.
  • Maintain user uptime through effective maintenance, problem identification, and resolution.
  • Manage Active Directory services, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP.
  • Troubleshoot Windows and Mac OS issues at both hardware and software levels.
  • Configure and support Office 365 products including Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams.
  • Manage device deployment and imaging processes using tools like Intune, WorkspaceOne, and JAMF.

Requirements

  • Active SECRET clearance required.
  • U.S. Citizenship required.
  • Minimum 3 years of IT administration and support experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows administration, Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, and Group Policy.
  • Experience with ticketing systems and SLA management (ServiceNow preferred).
  • Ability to work onsite in Lexington, MA.

Nice to have

  • Experience in a fast-paced consulting or MSP environment.
  • Certifications: CompTIA A+, Network+, or ITIL V3/V4 Foundation.
  • Experience with Veeam backup solutions.
  • Windows/Office 365 on Mac support experience.
