System Administrator (Azure)

What you will do

• Administrate the full suite of Azure cloud technologies, including storage accounts, conditional access, and ExpressRoute circuits.
• Manage the deployment and administration of Azure Virtual Machines and Azure Virtual Desktops via Nerdio.
• Perform security patching and updates for Windows and Linux systems during maintenance windows.
• Manage Active Directory identity lifecycle, DNS, DHCP, GPO, and PKI infrastructure.
• Oversee M365 technologies, including Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, and PowerBI.
• Provide Tier III support to internal stakeholders and resolve complex technical issues affecting critical systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in CS or related field with 5+ years of experience in systems administration (or advanced degree with 3+ years).
• Hands-on experience managing cloud environments using Microsoft Azure.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 administration (Entra ID, Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, Purview, and Defender).
• Strong scripting skills with PowerShell for automation of tasks and workflows.
• English: Fluent written and oral communication required.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is mandatory.

Nice to have

• Experience with project tracking tools like Jira.
• Familiarity with MDM tools such as Jamf or Microsoft Intune.
• Ability to leverage modern AI tools like Copilot or ChatGPT.
