What you will do

• Lead and scale a high-performing organization of 40-50 developers and managers, defining performance standards and development culture.
• Oversee the development strategy for the Model Development Lifecycle (MDLC) infrastructure, including annotation, evaluation, and model serving systems.
• Partner with Data Science, Clinical, and Product leadership to translate scientific requirements into scalable development roadmaps.
• Direct the development of the Lifelong Health Study platform, integrating high-frequency sensor data and patient-centric applications.
• Own the delivery and reliability of the Customer Identity and Access Management (CIAM) system, ensuring compliance with privacy standards.
• Manage organizational resourcing, budgeting, and cross-functional business processes to balance execution with architectural investments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 12+ years of experience in software, data, cloud, or ML engineering roles.
• 5+ years of experience managing development managers and leading technical strategy for multi-team organizations.
• Proven track record of building and leading teams responsible for large-scale data infrastructure, ML platforms, or regulated software products.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical discipline.
• Deep understanding of ML Ops, responsible AI practices, and automated evaluation frameworks.
• Experience designing and operating IAM/CIAM systems in healthcare or highly regulated environments (HIPAA, GDPR).
• Familiarity with longitudinal health studies, sensor signal processing, and FHIR data standards.
