Salary: $100,000 - $145,000

What you will do

• Collaborate on system workflows and update SOPs for Media Traffic Control.
• Manage troubleshooting processes for remote feeds by partnering with field operations and IT teams.
• Coordinate maintenance, upgrades, and configuration of MTC support systems and tools.
• Integrate new field operations technologies into existing operational workflows.
• Provide technical leadership, guidance, and training to personnel across departments.
• Act as project manager for contribution system installations and upgrades.

Requirements

• Must be available to work on-site at 30 Rockefeller Plaza, New York, NY.
• Must be available for breaking news coverage, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Comprehensive understanding of live broadcast encoding, decoding, and video over IP protocols (UDP, RTP, SRT).
• Knowledge of RF systems, signal flow, video routing, and TCP/IP network infrastructure.
• Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Proven record of managing projects within budget and timeline constraints.

Nice to have

• BA/BS in a related field.
• Experience in a live broadcast environment.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or MS Vizio.
• Understanding of broadcast remote control technology, SNMP, and API communications.
• Basic coding knowledge (HTML, XML, C#).
