Compensation: $4,739.00 - $5,102.00 CAD Monthly

What you will do
- Manage full-cycle recruitment, selection, and onboarding processes for employees and student workers.
- Process and maintain all personnel data, appointments, and payroll-related information in Workday.
- Advise managers and staff on collective agreement terms, HR policies, and employment standards.
- Provide front-line HR support and resolve discrepancies in employee accounts and payroll.
- Coordinate orientation initiatives and support engagement events within the department.
- Compile statistical data and generate reports for decision-making and compliance purposes.
Requirements
- High School graduation plus a two-year post-secondary diploma and four years of related experience.
- Must be able to work onsite at the Vancouver campus.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Strong understanding of HR policies, payroll regulations, and collective agreements.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with a high level of discretion and tact.
- Commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion in the workplace.
Nice to have
- Human Resources diploma or BA in Human Resources.
- Experience working in a complex unionized environment.
- Prior experience with Workday or similar HRMS systems.
- Knowledge of -specific policies and procedures.
