What you will do

• Serve as the primary point of contact for employees and managers regarding HR policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with Canadian employment standards, human rights, and privacy legislation.
• Partner with payroll and benefits teams to manage employee cases and operational workflows.
• Oversee performance management processes, including reviews, goal setting, and coaching.
• Coordinate new employee onboarding and integration for the Canadian team.
• Collaborate with the Talent team to develop and deliver training programs on leadership and compliance.

Requirements

• Must be legally authorized to work in Canada without sponsorship.
• University degree in HR, Business, or related field, with CPHR/CHRP designation.
• 7-10 years of progressive HR experience within a Canadian context.
• Deep mastery of Ontario employment laws and provincial requirements across Canada.
• Proven experience managing cross-functional workflows between payroll and benefits.
• Ability to travel occasionally within Canada between Waterloo and Toronto.
