What you will do

• Perform detailed design for substation electrical power systems, including one-line diagrams, SCADA, and wiring schematics.
• Conduct power system studies such as short circuit, load flow, relay coordination, and arc flash analysis using computer models.
• Develop protective relay settings and create manual hand checks to validate computer-aided results.
• Prepare technical project documentation, including cost estimates, budget reports, and proposals.
• Provide field assistance, troubleshooting, and quality oversight for designers and field personnel.
• Ensure all designs and deliverables adhere to relevant industry Codes and Standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology.
• 5+ years of relevant engineering or field experience in power systems.
• FE licensure is required; PE is preferred.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and deep knowledge of substation electrical design.
• Effective written and oral communication skills.
• Current authorization to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
