TL;DR
Venture Administrator: Supporting venture operations and PMO processes for an internal venture studio with an accent on milestone tracking, budget/expense control, and coordinating documentation, schedules, and vendor onboarding. Location: Nottingham, UK (London and Solihull; travel to other sites when required)

What you will do
- Support venture operations as the administrative right-hand to the EIR, handling day-to-day PMO tasks.
- Maintain project documentation and keep tools (Jira, Asana, Confluence) up to date for tasks, risks, and milestones.
- Track budgets and expenses, including purchase orders, invoice processing, and spending records.
- Coordinate schedules and meetings, including customer research interviews and workshops/sprint planning.
- Onboard vendors and partners by navigating corporate procurement and legal processes.
- Prepare pitch materials by gathering data, formatting reports, and organizing documentation for investment committee pitches.
Requirements
- Some experience in project administration, PMO, or project management.
- Strong organizational skills with a proven ability to keep processes structured and details tracked.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills to identify administrative bottlenecks and resolve them.
- Experience working with lean startup methodologies and adapting tracking/admin processes as plans change.
- Ability to act as a self-starter and remove administrative friction to keep the team moving.
Nice to have
- Experience in the energy sector or navigating finance and procurement processes in a large corporate environment.
- Experience supporting an EIR, founder, or project team in an incubator, accelerator, or early-stage startup.
- Proficiency with PMO/collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, Monday.com, or SAP.
