Senior Software Engineer - Addressing Team (Go)

What you will do

• Architect, develop, and maintain core software services for hirify.global’s addressing systems.
• Build Go-based microservices, APIs, and data models for expanding IP address management needs.
• Develop traffic engineering tools, dynamic BGP control APIs, and IP provisioning capabilities.
• Build reliable, fault-tolerant distributed systems operating at hirify.global’s global scale.
• Collaborate with system reliability engineers, network engineers, and product engineering teams.
• Learn and work with edge routers, servers, DNS, and IP provisioning pipelines.

Requirements

• Senior-level software engineering experience with high-quality code in one or more system programming languages, such as Go, Python, C, or C++.
• Experience with modern Unix/Linux development and runtime environments.
• Solid understanding of TCP/IP, networking, and the HTTP/S/TLS stack.
• Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
• Experience building and operating distributed systems, with strong debugging skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to take ownership and help shape products, tools, and system designs.

Nice to have

• Experience with Go or Rust.
• Familiarity with UI design, workflows, and implementation.
• Experience with anycast or multi-site unicast networks.
• Knowledge of DNS and DNS-based traffic management, including geo DNS.
