2027 Graduate Software Engineer (C++/Python)

Location: New York office; onsite five days a week

Salary: $135,000–$150,000 USD base salary per year, plus a discretionary bonus and benefits.

What you will do

• Build and improve proprietary trading tools supporting commodity trading desks.
• Collaborate with developers, technology leaders, traders, and researchers to define technical requirements.
• Deliver platform functionality iteratively with technology and business stakeholders.
• Architect greenfield solutions and safely extend and improve established codebases.
• Use AI tools to accelerate development while owning design, verification, edge-case handling, deployment, and production support.

Requirements

• Expected graduation by Summer 2027 with a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Programming experience in C++ and/or Python in Linux environments.
• Experience with quantitative or latency-sensitive problems is preferred.
• Ability to use AI tools while maintaining full ownership of code quality and verification.
• Strong listening, interpersonal, written, oral communication, analytical, and creative problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work onsite at the New York office five days per week.
