What you will do

• Research, document, and review complex accounting transactions including derivatives, revenue arrangements, and leases.
• Provide timely accounting analysis and recommendations on deal structures to support M&A and senior leadership.
• Interpret and develop company-wide accounting policies and ensure consistent application of US GAAP.
• Supervise and mentor junior technical accounting staff.
• Manage interactions with external auditors and national office directors regarding complex accounting conclusions.
• Ensure SOX compliance and participate in the preparation of public financial statement disclosures.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business required.
• Active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license in the United States required.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in US GAAP with a publicly-traded company or Big 4 firm.
• Extensive experience in highly technical accounting areas such as business combinations and impairment testing.
• Strong analytical, research, and project management skills.
• Excellent communication skills for executive-level presentations.
