Senior Accountant, Financial Reporting and Consolidations (Renewable Energy)

Location: Hybrid, with regular in-office presence in San Diego, California, United States

Salary: $106,224–$132,780 per year

What you will do

• Reconcile intercompany and interdivisional transactions and prepare elimination entries for multi-entity consolidations.
• Prepare quarterly and annual financial statements, disclosures, and external reports under U.S. GAAP and SEC regulations.
• Research complex technical accounting matters, interpret accounting guidance, and prepare technical accounting memoranda.
• Support new accounting standards, consolidated reporting systems, M&A integration, purchase accounting, and accounting policy alignment.
• Assist with SOX 404 control enhancements and provide documentation to auditors and valuation specialists.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance from a four-year university.
• At least three years of experience in public accounting, public company financial reporting, or a combination of both.
• Experience preparing or auditing SEC filings.
• Strong technical accounting background and proficient knowledge of current U.S. GAAP.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, critical-thinking, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a hybrid arrangement with regular in-office presence in San Diego, California.
