Senior Technical Accountant (AI)

Location: Remote within the United States

Salary: $121,000–$190,000 gross annual, depending on US compensation tier, level, role, and location; equity and bonus offered.

What you will do

• Lead technical accounting analyses for complex revenue arrangements, including contract modifications, variable consideration, new products, and SSP assessments.
• Research FASB ASC guidance and document accounting positions, policies, and practical recommendations.
• Maintain the ASC 606 revenue recognition policy memo and revenue playbook.
• Prepare and review stock-based compensation accounting, consolidated financial statements, and entity-level reporting for a multinational structure.
• Own quarterly Controllership reporting for the Board and investors and partner with FP&A on accurate supporting materials.
• Act as the primary technical accounting partner for external auditors and support SOX readiness, systems enhancements, and process improvements using AI tools where appropriate.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance and an active CPA.
• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience with substantial hands-on technical accounting work.
• Big Four or public accounting audit experience.
• Deep knowledge of ASC 606 and experience with ASC 718 stock-based compensation accounting.
• Experience preparing or reviewing consolidated financial statements for multinational or multi-entity organizations.
• Strong Excel, written communication, judgment, and prioritization skills.

Nice to have

• Experience building or expanding a technical accounting function in a growing company.
• Experience with foreign currency, intercompany arrangements, cross-border entities, SOX controls, automation, or AI-enabled accounting tools.
• Experience partnering with Product, Sales Operations, or Legal on new offerings and contract structures.
