Salary: $170,000 – $235,000 (Total compensation $245,000 – $360,000 including equity).

What you will do

• Architect, build, and scale core production systems that handle millions of daily transactions.
• Own complex projects end-to-end, from task breakdown to delivery and system health monitoring.
• Leverage AI tools to accelerate development, testing, and deployment processes.
• Mentor junior engineers through code reviews, pairing, and structured feedback.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product, machine learning research, and go-to-market teams.
• Act as a first responder during incidents and promote engineering best practices.

Requirements

• 3-5+ years of commercial software development experience with a track record of shipping production systems.
• Strong proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, JavaScript, or Go.
• Experience with web application development, cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure), Kubernetes, and API development.
• Ability to break down ambiguous problems using first principles and drive projects to completion.
• Must be based in New York and able to work from the office 4 days per week.
• Strong communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
