What you will do

• Design, develop, and deliver new software features across the platform tech stack.
• Propose and evaluate technical designs to solve complex engineering problems.
• Build and maintain scalable data processing pipelines and storage components.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure interoperability of platform services.
• Utilize industry-standard tools including Go, Docker, Terraform, and GCP.

Requirements

• Must be legally authorized to work in Canada
• BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 2 years of professional software development experience.
• Expertise in building systems on cloud platforms like GCP, AWS, or Azure.
• Proficiency in one or more general-purpose languages such as Go, Java, Python, or C++.

Nice to have

• Experience with Apache Beam and data ingestion technologies.
• Solid understanding of ETL principles and best practices.
• Knowledge of analytics-oriented databases and Bioquery.
• Background in healthcare or life sciences, specifically HL7 FHIR.
