Salary: $200,000–$235,000 CAD

What you will do

• Own the technical vision and execution for hirify.global Chain, the Tokenization Engine, and the hirify.global Wallet.
• Design, build, and operate core services powering Web3 financial products.
• Maintain a hands-on approach by writing production code and leading complex technical implementations.
• Improve developer productivity by leading the adoption of AI tooling.
• Mentor engineers through design reviews, architecture discussions, and leadership.
• Drive excellence across reliability, observability, and security standards.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience building and operating large-scale, distributed systems.
• Proficiency in backend development with Go, Python, or Java and cloud-native architectures.
• 3+ years of leadership experience in large-scale technical initiatives.
• Ability to drive alignment across diverse stakeholders and make sound architectural tradeoffs.
• Demonstrated experience fostering technical excellence and long-term career growth in engineering teams.
• Must be based in Toronto and available for in-office collaboration 3 days per week.
