TL;DR

Director, Equity & Compensation (HR): Leading the design, administration, and communication of short- and long-term incentive and equity plans to support organizational growth with an accent on analytical modeling and cross-functional partnership. Focus on developing competitive compensation strategies, managing equity-administration platforms, and effectively communicating complex pay decisions to stakeholders.

Location: Must be based in the United States

Salary: $165,000–$185,000

What you will do

  • Design and redefine short- and long-term incentive and equity plans.
  • Conduct market analyses to ensure competitive positioning of pay programs.
  • Model and analyze compensation-plan designs to provide actionable recommendations.
  • Partner with Legal and Finance for plan administration and participant communications.
  • Prepare materials for the Compensation Committee of the Board of Directors.
  • Manage change and implementation of compensation strategies across the organization.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of progressive experience in broad-based compensation, including 4+ years in incentive plan administration.
  • 5+ years in progressive leadership roles.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Finance, or Business Administration.
  • Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) or Certified Equity Professional (CEP) designation.
  • Experience in a publicly traded company.
  • Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel for complex modeling.
  • Familiarity with equity-administration platforms like E*TRADE, Solium/Shareworks, or Carta.
