What you will do

• Coordinate with external engineering firms to review and issue plans and specifications.
• Perform engineering calculations and provide technical guidance for project development.
• Resolve design challenges and ensure designs are practical, constructible, and cost-effective.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the development of engineering best practices.
• Collaborate across departments and with vendors to explore innovative materials and technologies.
• Provide project feedback to estimating teams to capture lessons learned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in civil, structural, or mechanical engineering from an ABET-accredited college.
• Minimum of two years of progressive engineering or supervisory experience in heavy civil, industrial, or utility sectors.
• Ability to travel nationwide for procurement and project-based purposes (approximately 33% of the time).
• Working knowledge of customary building and structural codes.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with technical and non-technical personnel.
