What you will do

• Act as a subject matter expert for all data protection issues and provide commercially aware advice.
• Embed privacy-by-design and privacy-by-default principles across all business operations.
• Manage and integrate key processes such as DPIAs, LIAs, and ROPA into business-as-usual workflows.
• Develop and deliver privacy training and awareness programs for staff across the group.
• Collaborate with IT/IS teams to ensure compliance with GDPR Article 32 and manage incident/breach responses.
• Assist the Group Data Protection Officer with strategy creation, risk identification, and 3rd party assurance.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to work from North London, UK.
• CIPP/E and potentially CIPM accreditation.
• Proven experience in running incident or breach risk assessments and advising on remedial actions.
• Strong background in configuring and using third-party privacy program software.
• Experience leading data protection projects and managing complex stakeholder relationships.
• Knowledge of Information Security or Cyber Security domains with a privacy-first approach.

Nice to have

• Previous experience in the online gaming or casino industry.
• Knowledge of gambling regulations, AML requirements, and sports betting markets.
• Relevant degree in law or regulation.
• Familiarity with ISO27001/2 and 27702 standards.
• Experience in defining and delivering business transformation and remediation.
