What you will do

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on solar and battery energy storage systems.
• Coordinate and manage contractors supporting site maintenance activities.
• Conduct technical and administrative duties to ensure facility operational efficiency.
• Provide support for commissioning activities and manage warranty claims with vendors.
• Ensure all work complies with rigorous environmental and safety regulations.
• Travel to various distributed and utility-scale sites within the local region.

Requirements

• Must be based in Kauai, Hawaii or able to work in the region.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a PV O&M technician or 3+ years in a power plant.
• Demonstrated knowledge of electrical or mechanical fundamentals, including control circuits and electrical theory.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English.
• Technical degree or Journeyman qualifications are highly preferred.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including climbing, lifting, and working in varied weather conditions.
