What you will do

• Develop and troubleshoot C/C++ utilities and services on embedded Linux SOMs.
• Manage drone services including button handling, device pairing, and system coordination.
• Maintain and improve PX4 flight logging workflows and diagnostics services.
• Configure boot behavior, initialization scripts, and system process management.
• Implement networking solutions using UDP, gRPC, Protobuf, DHCP, and DNS.
• Collaborate with flight software, manufacturing, and QA teams to resolve field issues.

Requirements

• Strong experience developing in C and/or C++ on Linux.
• Deep knowledge of Linux systems, services, processes, and networking.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident (ITAR/EAR compliance).
• Experience with resource-constrained embedded Linux platforms.
• Proficiency in scripting with Bash or Python.
• Ability to debug complex system-level issues independently.

Nice to have

• Experience with MAVLink, PX4, or drone/UAS systems.
• Familiarity with MAVLink Router or message-routing infrastructure.
• Experience with gRPC and Protobuf.
• Knowledge of mesh networks or multi-interface network environments.
