What you will do

• Provide technical leadership and architectural oversight for embedded Linux software across multiple product lines.
• Define platform strategy for Yocto builds, kernel configuration, driver architecture, and real-time system behavior.
• Lead development, debugging, and optimization of Linux kernel modules, device drivers, BSP components, and application software.
• Architect real-time, performance-critical applications in C/C++ and resolve issues across hardware, bootloaders, kernels, and user space.
• Ensure platform maintainability, security, scalability, validation, and lifecycle readiness.
• Mentor engineers and collaborate with hardware, test, manufacturing, and product management teams on technical governance and roadmap planning.

Requirements

• 7+ years of embedded Linux development experience.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
• Strong expertise in Yocto and custom Linux distribution development.
• Mastery of Linux kernel internals, device drivers, low-level debugging, and tools such as Valgrind, perf, or oprofile.
• Advanced C/C++ skills for embedded and real-time applications, including low-latency and deterministic system design such as PREEMPT_RT.
• Proven technical leadership, systems thinking, structured problem-solving, and experience working across hardware and software.
