What you will do

• Develop and expand a differentiated portfolio of specialty chemicals for paints, coatings, and construction applications.
• Build and maintain strategic relationships with principals, suppliers, and key customer stakeholders.
• Recommend technically sound solutions to address customer formulation and application challenges.
• Manage product trials, technical support activities, and application development projects.
• Deliver sales, gross margin, and business development targets through disciplined CRM management.
• Collaborate with supply chain, finance, and technical teams to ensure operational excellence and demand forecasting.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Polymer Science, or a related scientific discipline.
• 7–10 years of relevant experience in specialty chemicals, paints, coatings, or construction chemicals.
• Proven track record in business development, supplier management, and key account management.
• Strong consultative selling skills and ability to manage technical-commercial projects.
• Proficiency in CRM systems, forecasting, and business reporting.
• Must be based in or able to work onsite in Lagos, Nigeria.

Nice to have

• Postgraduate qualification in Sales, Business Development, or Commercial Management.
• Experience working with international suppliers and manufacturers.
