TL;DR

Business Development Representative I - Inbound (Sales): Generate qualified pipeline by responding to inbound marketing-qualified leads, qualifying prospects against ICP criteria, and scheduling high-quality meetings for Account Executives with an accent on speed-to-lead, discovery conversations, and CRM accuracy. Focus on managing a high-volume inbound lead queue, running follow-up sequences, and improving connect-to-meeting conversion using call review and coaching feedback.

Salary: $30.29 - $30.29 hourly

What you will do

  • Respond to inbound MQLs within defined SLAs (demo requests, web form submissions, content downloads, and campaign responses), prioritizing speed-to-lead.
  • Qualify inbound leads against ICP criteria (fleet size, industry vertical, decision-maker authority, and business need) before advancing to an Account Executive or hirify.globalOne Partner.
  • Run initial discovery conversations to understand prospects’ environment, pain points, and urgency, then deliver a clear value proposition.
  • Schedule qualified meetings for Account Executives and ensure each handoff includes documented qualification and context.
  • Manage and prioritize an active queue of inbound leads, executing consistent follow-up sequences for non-converting leads.
  • Maintain complete lead and activity records in CRM and partner with Marketing and AEs to improve lead quality and campaign performance.

Requirements

  • 0 to 1 year of experience in sales, business development, customer service, or a client-facing role; entry-level role with training provided.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to articulate a value proposition across multiple stakeholder levels.
  • Results-oriented mindset with high personal accountability and discipline to work independently toward activity and pipeline targets.
  • Comfort with high-volume outreach and a resilient, process-driven approach to prospecting.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to manage multiple accounts and outreach sequences simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; CRM or enterprise sales tools experience (Salesforce preferred) is a plus.

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with AI-powered sales tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude) for prospect research, outreach drafting, or call preparation.
  • B2B sales experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
