What you will do

• Perform mechanical design and hands-on testing of drivetrain systems, including drive axles, transmissions, and brakes.
• Create and release designs for in-house and purchased components using Siemens NX software.
• Plan and execute development and validation testing and analyze results to ensure reliability.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, sourcing, marketing, and testing teams to deliver high-quality products.
• Apply analysis methods and development processes to continuously improve product outcomes.

Requirements

• Bachelors in Engineering (Masters preferred for levels II and III).
• Experience level ranging from entry-level to 3+ years of industry experience depending on the grade (I, II, or III).
• Proficiency in CAD, drafting practices, and engineering analysis.
• Understanding of vehicle or automotive technology and manufacturing methods.
• Must be based in or able to work from Portland, OR.
