What you will do

• Define and implement long-term process and equipment strategy for EV Powertrain manufacturing lines.
• Lead the full equipment lifecycle from concept and specification to installation, commissioning, and production ramp-up.
• Manage process flow planning, facility layout, and integration of automation cells and utility systems.
• Act as the technical subject matter expert for high-precision automation, servo control, and quality inspection systems.
• Collaborate with Product Engineering to optimize designs for automated assembly (DFM/DFA).
• Drive continuous improvement in equipment performance, OEE, and yield using statistical analysis and root cause methodologies.

Requirements

• 15+ years of experience in advanced manufacturing engineering, with 8+ years in high-precision EV or automotive drivetrain assembly.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field.
• Proven history of bringing complex, highly automated manufacturing equipment online from concept to high-volume production.
• Expert knowledge of Electric Motor EOL dynamometer testing and data interpretation.
• Strong proficiency in CAD software for equipment design and layout.
• Must be willing to travel domestically and internationally as required.

Nice to have

• Experience in a startup environment and rapid production scaling.
• Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma Black Belt certification.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
