TL;DR

Account Manager- Service/Repair: Securing and maintaining service accounts and repair work while developing customer relationships to meet annual revenue goals, with an accent on B2B account management across Tier 1–3 customers and building capital plans. Focus on preparing repair proposals and service contract bids using estimating software, reviewing blueprints, and coordinating with operations to drive follow-up and conversions.

What you will do

  • Exceed sales goals and quotas by using company tools to grow service/repair revenue and reduce cancellations.
  • Manage service accounts by visiting Tier 1, 2, and 3 customers in the assigned territory and building relationships with customer stakeholders and groups (including BOMA).
  • Develop customer capital plans to address short- and long-term building needs.
  • Maintain product knowledge by attending training and studying factory equipment manuals and supplier information, including local elevator code requirements.
  • Prepare repair job proposals by estimating labor and other job costs (including manual calculations when needed), reviewing blueprints, surveying equipment, and coordinating with operations for approvals.
  • Prepare service contract bids and handle customer follow-up on quoted repairs and service contracts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
  • Minimum 1 year of B2B sales experience required.
  • Strong attention to detail with proactive follow-up skills.
  • Proven ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment and build relationships with customers and cross-functional colleagues.
  • Excellent time management, organizational, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural and/or blueprint/drawings (preferred).
