Salary: $82,300 - $220,000

What you will do

• Develop and characterize liver-specific micro-physiological (MPS) and organ-on-chip models.
• Culture and manipulate human primary cells, iPSC-derived hepatocytes, and non-parenchymal liver cells.
• Plan and lead technical experiments in a BSL-2 laboratory environment.
• Perform molecular, biochemical, and cellular assays including immunostaining, flow cytometry, and qPCR.
• Acquire and analyze high-content confocal microscopy data using automated pipelines.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and contribute to business development and proposal writing.

Requirements

• Minimum 5+ years of bioengineering or related experience.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (PhD preferred).
• Proven expertise in liver-specific in vitro models and complex hepatic co-culture.
• Experience with microfluidic-based cell and tissue culture platforms.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with AI/ML-driven cell painting and high-content imaging.
• Proficiency in R or Python for bioinformatics and data analytics.
• Experience with in silico PK/PD modeling.
• Track record of securing external funding or writing R&D proposals.
