What you will do

• Develop DRC, LVS, dummy fill, antenna, density, PERC, float, XOR rule decks from specifications.
• Drive impact analysis meetings with stakeholders for deck releases.
• Collaborate with CAD, ESD, design, layout, and foundry teams to gather specs and resolve PV issues.
• Create custom QA testcases, conduct code reviews, and maintain PV flows for improved quality/performance.
• Evaluate new tools/features, benchmark them, and work with vendors to debug/track bugs.
• Mentor junior engineers on PV decks, flows, and methodologies.

Requirements

• 10+ years experience with bachelor’s or master’s in electrical engineering.
• Strong expertise in DRC, antenna, density, dummy fill rule decks using Calibre SVRF or similar.
• Working knowledge of Calibre RVE, DRV, Virtuoso Layout Editor.
• Proficiency in Perl, Python, Shell for scripting and automation.
• Experience driving PV flows from spec to release/adoption.
• Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and debug issues in development lifecycle.

Nice to have

• Experience coding LVS, extraction, PERC rule decks.
• Experience with AI-powered tools for productivity and analysis.
