TL;DR

SME Propositions Lead (Energy): Supporting the design, development, and delivery of customer propositions for SME energy services with an accent on tariffs, business energy management tools, and low-carbon solutions. Focus on aligning propositions with customer needs, commercial viability, and effective market delivery through cross-functional collaboration.

Location: Must be based in the UK (Nottingham, Solihull, or London) with a hybrid work model.

What you will do

  • Contribute to the end-to-end development and delivery of SME propositions from concept to launch.
  • Support business case development, market research, and competitor analysis.
  • Draft proposition requirements and collaborate with operations, digital, and technology teams.
  • Monitor performance metrics including adoption, usage, margin, and customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure all propositions align with regulatory requirements and company strategy.
  • Design intuitive and accessible customer journeys and experiences.

Requirements

  • Experience in product, proposition, or project delivery roles.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to shifting priorities.
  • Effective communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
  • Knowledge of the retail energy market.
  • Must be based in the UK and able to travel to company sites as required.

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of low-carbon technologies such as EVs, solar, heat pumps, and battery storage.
  • Familiarity with customer research and data analysis.
  • Previous experience in SME commercial or operational roles.
