What you will do
- Meet or exceed revenue targets for instrumentation and consumables within the assigned territory.
- Develop and maintain long-term relationships with key influencers and decision-makers.
- Act as a technical resource for the commercial team, providing expertise on sequencing applications and market trends.
- Deliver workshops and seminars to diverse audiences, including C-suite stakeholders.
- Manage sales pipelines and opportunity development using CRM protocols.
- Collaborate with account managers to create and execute customized territory plans.
Requirements
- Must have current authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- BA/BS degree in Biological Sciences, Genetics, Genomics, or a related field.
- Minimum 3+ years of customer-facing sales experience in life science, genomics, or clinical research markets.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and territory growth.
- Strong public speaking and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to maintain a home office within the defined territory.
Nice to have
- Ph.D. or Masters in Biological Sciences, Genetics, Genomics, or related field.
- Technical expertise in Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) applications.
- Experience working as an overlay in a matrixed sales environment.
- Knowledge of genomics-related bioinformatics tools and data analysis.
