EH&S Specialist (Aerospace)

Location: Mojave, CA, United States; onsite

Salary: $40.00–$52.50 per hour, plus eligibility for up to a 10% annual bonus.

What you will do

• Review and develop EH&S policies, procedures, and programs.
• Research and interpret requirements from Cal/OSHA, DOT, EPA, DTSC, and other regulatory agencies.
• Support manufacturing and operations teams as an EH&S resource.
• Conduct industrial hygiene sampling, exposure analyses, inspections, and hazard analyses.
• Investigate injuries, incidents, and near misses, and analyze related trends.
• Provide safety training and meetings for manufacturing and operations teams while managing hazardous waste activities.

Requirements

• Associate degree or higher in an EH&S-related field with 4+ years of experience, or 6+ years of EH&S experience.
• Experience researching and interpreting Cal/OSHA, EPA, DOT, and similar regulations.
• Experience developing written programs and company policies.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat.
• Strong basic mathematical skills and ability to stand or walk for at least 50% of the workday.
• Ability to obtain a high security clearance.
