TL;DR

eCOTS Sales Specialist (Semiconductor): Driving market penetration and adoption of embedded Commercial Off-The-Shelf solutions within government and defense sectors with an accent on technical solution development and sales cycle management. Focus on building compelling technical value propositions, navigating federal procurement processes, and collaborating with cross-functional engineering and business development teams.

Location: Must be based in the US (Hybrid model available in Phoenix, Folsom, Hillsboro, Austin, Fairfax, or Washington, D.C.)

Salary: $183,330–$352,540 USD

What you will do

  • Partner with customers and business development teams to identify opportunities and develop tailored technical solutions.
  • Support the complete sales cycle from initial engagement through successful product delivery.
  • Provide technical expertise during customer presentations, demonstrations, and solution discussions.
  • Collaborate with engineering, product management, and marketing teams to gather customer requirements and influence product roadmaps.
  • Create and maintain technical sales collateral specifically for US Government and Defense Industrial Base markets.
  • Contribute to trade shows, conferences, and customer events as a technical subject matter expert.

Requirements

  • US Citizenship required
  • Ability to obtain a US Government Security Clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Business, Marketing, or related technical field.
  • 4+ years of experience in technical sales, solutions engineering, business development, or customer-facing roles.
  • Experience supporting customer engagements, solution positioning, and sales lifecycle development.

Nice to have

  • Active US Government Security Clearance (Secret level or higher).
  • Experience in semiconductor, silicon, or integrated hardware/software solutions.
  • Experience working within the U.S. Government (USG) or Defense Industrial Base (DIB).
  • Knowledge of federal contracting and procurement processes.
