Digital Technical Specialist (Red Hat): Acting as a technical expert and advisor to clients and sales teams, presenting solutions that drive value for clients using Red Hat offerings. Focus on delivering pre-sales workshops, product demonstrations, technical education, and Proof of Concept engagements, applying technical and sales knowledge to achieve revenue targets.
Location: Austin, TX. in-office four (4) days per week (Monday to Thursday) with remote work on Friday. Must have the ability to work without a need for current or future visa sponsorship in the United States.
Salary: $79,000–$137,000 per year

What you will do
- Become a subject matter expert and trusted advisor for Red Hat offerings.
- Collaborate with sales teams to define and design technical aspects of proposed solutions.
- Deliver pre-sales solution workshops, product demonstrations, and Proof of Concept engagements.
- Position Red Hat’s unique value proposition against competitors and achieve revenue targets.
- Lead solutions enablement for your team and share knowledge.
- Ensure client satisfaction and advocate for solutions.
Requirements
- Associate's Degree/College Diploma (Bachelor's preferred).
- Experience in pre-sales, sales engineering, or technology consulting.
- Understanding of enterprise solutions and diverse infrastructure architectures.
- Knowledge of UNIX, Windows, or Linux-based systems, specifically Red Hat platform offerings (RHEL, OpenShift, Ansible).
- Experience with configuration management and running demos on Red Hat Platform.
- Sales-oriented process and customer-direct pre-sales experience.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills are required.
- At least 2 certifications in Red Hat or similar technologies.
- 2-3 years of experience in a technical presales or support role focused on PaaS, IaaS, and/or on-premise technologies.
