Location: Remote or Lakewood, CO. Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
Salary: $150,000 – 200,000 / year

What you will do
- Lead and mentor functional groups of engineering teams in substation Physical and P&C disciplines.
- Develop and implement multi-year strategic plans for growth, efficiency, and profitability.
- Oversee quality assurance, departmental standards, and the creation of Standard Best Practices (SBPs).
- Manage resource allocation, workload forecasting, and hiring for lead engineers and team leaders.
- Collaborate with Business Development to identify new clients and maintain existing relationships.
- Monitor financial statements, including revenue, COGS, and net income for the group.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE or BSEET) from an accredited institution.
- 10+ years of experience in substation engineering (P&C or Physical).
- Minimum 4 years of experience in a leadership or team management role.
- Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
- Strong knowledge of electrical power systems and protective relaying principles.
- Proficiency with industry-standard regulations and compliance requirements.
Nice to have
- Professional Engineer (PE) license.
- Experience with IEEE committees or other industry boards.
- Track record of producing white papers or conference presentations.
