What you will do

• Lead and mentor functional groups of engineering teams in substation Physical and P&C disciplines.
• Develop and implement multi-year strategic plans for growth, efficiency, and profitability.
• Oversee quality assurance, departmental standards, and the creation of Standard Best Practices (SBPs).
• Manage resource allocation, workload forecasting, and hiring for lead engineers and team leaders.
• Collaborate with Business Development to identify new clients and maintain existing relationships.
• Monitor financial statements, including revenue, COGS, and net income for the group.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE or BSEET) from an accredited institution.
• 10+ years of experience in substation engineering (P&C or Physical).
• Minimum 4 years of experience in a leadership or team management role.
• Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
• Strong knowledge of electrical power systems and protective relaying principles.
• Proficiency with industry-standard regulations and compliance requirements.

Nice to have

• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Experience with IEEE committees or other industry boards.
• Track record of producing white papers or conference presentations.
