What you will do

• Lead the design and implementation of complex, scalable software systems.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior and mid-level engineers.
• Collaborate with product and architecture teams to translate business objectives into technical specifications.
• Drive innovation by evaluating and proposing new technologies and processes.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot complex technical issues to ensure system stability.
• Establish and document best practices for application development and architecture.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of professional software development experience.
• Proficiency in Java and Python.
• Deep understanding of relational and NoSQL database systems.
• Strong knowledge of application architecture and design patterns.

Nice to have

• Expertise in Java Spring Boot and RESTful web services.
• Proficiency in AWS cloud-native and serverless architectures.
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, BitBucket, or GitHub Actions.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
