What you will do

• Design and maintain critical backend systems including capture services, event pipelines, and async workers.
• Lead technical execution for ambiguous, high-impact projects across multiple services and domains.
• Ingest and normalize communications data from enterprise platforms such as Microsoft, Slack, Zoom, and Google.
• Contribute to AI-native product surfaces including LLM classification, agent runs, and investigator workflows.
• Mentor engineers through design reviews, code pairing, and high-level architectural guidance.
• Debug complex production issues involving data correctness, API behavior, and system scale.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience building production backend or full-stack systems.
• Strong Python expertise, including typed code and production debugging.
• Deep experience with Postgres, including schema design and query performance optimization.
• Experience building distributed systems involving queues, workers, idempotency, and rate limits.
• Strong API integration experience with OAuth, webhooks, and vendor-specific edge cases.
• Must have legal authorization to work in the United States.
