TL;DR

Location: Onsite in Lake Orion, Michigan.

What you will do

  • Provide controls engineering and electrical support for manufacturing processes in a vehicle assembly facility.
  • Manage electrical projects including new installations, operations improvements, and periodic repairs.
  • Troubleshoot complex manufacturing equipment and industrial networks.
  • Provide technical direction and training to skilled trades and support personnel.
  • Develop cost estimates, investment forecasts, and business cases for project activities.
  • Coordinate with manufacturing engineers on new model processes and equipment planning.

Requirements

  • Must be authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship (H-1B, TN, STEM OPT, etc. are not supported).
  • Must be able to work onsite in Lake Orion, MI on a full-time basis.
  • Proficiency in programming and troubleshooting Rockwell/Allen Bradley ControlLogix processors.
  • Experience troubleshooting FANUC robotics and industrial networks (Device-Net, Control Net, Ethernet).
  • Ability to read and modify electrical prints.
  • Willingness to work any shift and overtime as required by production schedules.

Nice to have

  • Experience working in automotive assembly environments.
  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent professional experience.
