Management Accountant

TL;DR

Location: Must be based in or able to commute to Antrim, Northern Ireland (Hybrid: 3 days onsite, 2 days remote)

Salary: £45,000–£55,000

What you will do

• Prepare management accounts for two companies and divisional P&L/BS within a strict 6-day timeframe.
• Manage group reporting, financial control, and balance sheet review processes.
• Ensure compliance with HMRC, internal/external audits, and corporate governance.
• Collaborate with the Director of Credit and Compliance to optimize credit control policies and operational efficiencies.
• Oversee payroll preparation, VAT/Intrastat returns, and budgeting/forecasting support.
• Manage direct reports and foster a culture of performance and compliance within the finance team.

Requirements

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA).
• Visible and credible leadership skills.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on driving KPI performance.
• Excellent communication and influencing abilities.
• Knowledge of Sage and SAP is preferred.
• High level of personal integrity and work ethic.
